Smarten Up His Days Off

When you spend your week dressing up for work it can be oh so easy to play it down on the weekends.

Here are just a few ways to keep your style game strong outside the office.

Smart Casual

A plain t-shirt and jeans can be taken up a notch with just a few small tweaks.

A button-down Henley top is a nice change to a scoop-neck but if you love a plain tee, style it up with a chambray shirt worn open. Cuffed jeans and chinos are a nice change to plainer styles and will add an edge to your outfit.

Dress up plain sneakers with a sleeker high-top or kung-fu style in leather.

Smart Dressy

Add depth to your outfit with textured layers.

A dress shirt can be made more sophisticated simply by adding a fitted merino sweater and a v-neck style is both classic and timeless.  Add to this a tailored zip-through jacket and you’ve created a smarter, more polished ensemble.

Complete the look with an ankle boot in luxe leather-suede.

Smart Formal

Don‘t be afraid to mix and match colours.

A mismatched suit can be just as suave as a perfectly matched one.  In fact, you can get more mileage out of your suit jackets by pairing them with chinos for a classic formal look.  For something sleek and unexpected pair a light suit pant with a black shirt and tie.

A tailored wool coat will finish off the look nicely.
