We are off the the races! A MUST in the fashion calendar, and this season there are pieces to suit everyone’s authentic style.

What I love about the races is the chance to push boundaries and get creative!  I remember one of my favourite race day outfits was completely different from what I would normally wear.

I tend to lean more on the edgy side, but this was a super soft floral pastel… very feminine!

I also love to add hats, fascinators or headpieces to an outfit I already own, and turn it into something completely different.

Race day is a great chance to have a little fun and mix it up!

Look One: Pearl Accents

Pearls are right on trend and this Courtney Knit  Splice dress from Portmans is the perfect colour to pair with your pearl accessories.

Hair can be simple and elegant with a row of pearl hair clips arranged in a neat line or a pearl studded headband is also great option.

Pretty floral prints in a bold colour or mixed with soft pastels have been a popular choice for race goers this season.
