We’ve made parking easier with our new Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) parking system.

When you enter The Plaza car park, cameras securely read your vehicle registration and time of entry. When you’re ready to leave you can pay three ways (see below). As you approach the exit, the camera catches your licence plate, matches your payment or recognises you are within the free time period, and the barrier arm opens.

How it works

  1. Enter the car park
    Drive in as normal
    No ticket is required
  2. Enjoy your visit – Shop, dine, meet friends, or run errands as usual.
  3. Pay before you leave. Choose one of three convenient payment options:

    Pay at a pay station using your vehicle license plate. Pay stations are located near Farmers and the Foodcourt.
    Tap and Go at the exit (contactless payment with debit/credit card or mobile wallet – no receipt given)
    Pay online by scanning a QR code and entering your licence plate. QR codes are located throughout the centre.

    Pay using: EFTPOS, Debit card, Credit Card or Mobile Wallet

    Cash is no longer able to be accepted for parking payments.

  4. Drive to the exit, camera matches your payment and barrier arms open.
